what to expect

On Sunday mornings at Christ Church, you will find a family-friendly atmosphere where children are not only welcome but are an active part of our services. We worship according to the historic Anglican tradition (through the Book of Common Prayer) and join millions of Christians worldwide each week who worship in the same way.

We believe traditional as well as modern forms of worship can and should be combined in the same service as an expression of our unity in Christ. Despite our many differences in musical tastes and style, we believe the Church should worship Christ "in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel" (Phil. 1:27).

We also believe that the Word of God should be proclaimed every Sunday so that we might more fully come to know Jesus Christ and the gospel he came to proclaim and to be equipped to share that gospel with others.

Our Sunday School hour begins at 9:00 a.m. and is followed by our worship service at 10:00 a.m., which usually lasts an hour and fifteen minutes. We have a fully-staffed Nursery for little ones during both hours. Most people dress semi-casual (some men wear coats; some women wear dresses) to casual (pants, jeans, etc.), but dress isn't important to us. We just want you to come worship with us!
